An authentic Edo-period fuchi — the hilt collar from a traditional Japanese katana or wakizashi. This finely crafted example features a copper base richly decorated with shakudō (a blackened copper-gold alloy), along with delicate gold and silver inlays forming stylised floral and lattice motifs.

Origin: Japan
Era: Edo Period (c. 18th–19th century)

Condition: Excellent antique condition overall with natural patina. One tiny silver detail appears to be missing, consistent with age and prior use.
