Superb heavy cut glass pub,club or hotel round match holder/striker. The base heavy cut with triangle patterns.
Round ‘Saucer’ shape with squat tapered hexagonal match holder on knopped stem. The flat hexagonal sides to match holder alternatively polished and matt unpolished. These matt surfaces are the three striking points. The used matches are discarded in saucer.No makers marks but looks to be made by Stourbridge glas maker innearl 20th century.
Only one fault to note. Small sliver chip to top flat edge of saucer, see 2nd to last photo.
