The design users very popular light pastel colours then give a lovey feel to it, it will complement many different home designs. The 2 smaller square apertures which hold 4x4 inch photos have been left unpainted, so are a brown finish, the 3 larger 5x5 inch apertures are a delicate green and then the 2 6x4 inch apertures are a fantastic contrasting white distressed finish. So, you have the whole range of wood finishes, bare, washed and painted. The middle aperture is the strongest colour and sits on top of the rest of the frame, so stands proud from the other photos, making a real statement. It has a strong metal bar on the back with which to hang the frame and the photos are slipped into the back of the frame by taking off the individual backboards. All the apertures are securely fastened together with metal bars that are screwed in two places.
