TERRIFIC QUALITY LOADED & Upgraded
Telecaster Type Electric Guitar
Control Plate Wiring Harness!
HIGH QUALITY and VALUE for your Fender Telecaster guitar, your Clone Telecaster guitar or to upgrade the old, worn out or low quality components in your Squire or import Telecaster type guitar!
If you are building a Tele kit this is the "drop in" LOADED control plate you need!
White and black genuine Gavitt cloth covered wiring and copious heat shrink throughout!
Three way "Oak Grisby" type clone switch! NOT a printed circuit board switch!
Two P24K A 500k ohm (logarithmic - volume) & B 500k ohm (linear - tone) brass split shaft pots (big same diameter as CTS clones) with set screw control knobs (the ones in the photos are press on but you'll get those that go on with an allen screw and get an allen wrench included)!
Genuine .047uF Sprague "Orange Drop" capacitor across the pots!
Genuine .001uf Sprague "Orange Drop" capacitor with 150k resistor "treble bleed" circuit on the volume pot!
Already wired genuine Switchcraft output jack!
Ground wire that grounds both pots with eyelet and wood screw to mount inside your copper foil covered cavity along with ANOTHER ground wire to put under your bridge plate! Grounding is how you stop HUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!
Two feet by 2 inches double side sticky conductive copper foil to cover your cavities which you connect together electrically to stop MUMMMMM !
NOTE = a two wire connector is included FREE with this kit (see photo, grey with red and blue levers). It lets you cut the output jack white and black wires near their origin on the caps, feed those wires in FROM THE OUTPUT JACK guitar body hole into the control cavity and then connect them to the connector and then connect the same wires on the harness to the connector WITH NO SOLDERING. You have to bare each wire about 3/4" by pulling back the cloth a bit.
I include that lever connector because some folks have had difficulty feeding the already wired output jack from inside the control plate cavity to the outside of guitar body, the hole already drilled in their guitar body is sometimes only big enough through its full length for wires but not for a output jack. The double wire lever connector solves that without needing to resolder the output jack.
Note - the pots are the WIDEST part and are just under ONE INCH in width or 25mm and your cavity MAY NOT BE WIDE ENOUGH and the wood thus may need widening with a chisel or sharp blade.
If you are looking for the same loaded control plate BUT WITH NO SOLDERING please check out my other listing, NO SOLDERING REQUIRED!
