This is pair of Nautical Wooden Sailboat Blocks with rope. They measure 3/4 inches long and have French wires for pierced ears.

I bought these in 1968 when I was 16. My father was a wooden sailboat and mast builder and rigger in Connecticut. We lived where the shop was and my sister and I would shop in New London, occasionally. They had a great little hideaway earring shop where I found these. I wore them a few times back then but they have been put away for over 50 years. 

Never exposed to smoke, perfume or scent of any kind. Very unique and for anyone who loves sailing and sailboats they are a great accessory.
