13mm internal diameter, 15mm external diameter drip line. The drippers are evenly spaced at either 20cm/30cm/40cm intervals. Each emitter emits 2 litres per hour of water at 1 Bar of water pressure.

This dripline functions effectively with water pressures up to 4 bar and is continuously self-flushing to prevent blockages and damage to the dripline.

Unlike 'Porous Pipe' / 'Leaky Pipe' this pipe will last a long time without blockages impeding the water flow. Porous Pipe needs replacing after each season whereas this Drip Line does not.

With drip line irrigation, it is recommended that systems are installed using a 'grid' layout - made by cutting the drip line and connecting it together in a grid shape using barbed connectors. Alternatively, drip line can also be installed as a single or 'snaked' line when the area is too small to justify a grid installation. This versatile drip line can be installed both on top of the soil (or mulch) and suspended above.

LDPE Drip Line Pipe at a price our competitors cannot match.

• 13mm internal diameter

• 15mm external diameter

• 1mm wall thickness

• High UV resistance and 100% crack-resistant

• Resists kinks and damage caused by routine landscape maintenance activities

• Operating water pressure rating: up to 4 bar

• For domestic and commercial irrigation system

Please be aware this is a pipe not a hose and is usually installed with saddle clamps, hold down stakes or at shallow depth. This LDPE pipe is not suitable for deep installation and shouldNOTbe used to carry human drinking water. This low density polyethylene pipe is a thin walled pipe that is great for domestic and commercial irrigation systems. The pipe is flexible, UV stabilised and will resist damage from frost during the winter months, but you should be sure to drain the pipe as expanding water can cause damage.

Working in cold temperatures: LDPE pipe can be inflexible and difficult to handle in cold weather. We recommend that installation is best done in temperatures above 10C, the warmer the better. LDPE pipe is more inclined to kink and split when handled roughly in freezing temperatures. To make working with LDPE pipe easier, place it in warm water before attaching fittings. Whilst we only charge 99p for a sample of this pipe, just ask for sample when you place an order with any of our products and we will happily include a piece, free of charge.Pipeand length is accurate to within 5%.
