This is a genuine antique book, literally a piece of history. If it were sentient, it could tell of over a hundred years full of lives it has touched and hands it has passed through. Every year, more of these irreplaceable treasures are lost-- to fires, floods, etc., or simple carelessness. It is my hope to rescue as many as possible and help them find homes where they will be cherished and passed on to future generations.

There is no date printed inside the book, but according to the bookcollectingheaven website, George Routledge and Sons, Limited published books with the exact listed address between 1890 and 1892, so this book was most likely printed during that window of time.

Previous owner's stamp inside. Both front and back endpapers have been replaced. No writing or odors. All photos depict the actual book listed; please examine them carefully. If you have any questions, please ask.
