Handmade OOAK Mixed Media Collage Original Artist Work 9 x 12 Inches – Vintage Paper

This one-of-a-kind 9 x 12 inch mixed media collage fuses early printed matter with bold contemporary mark-making. A vintage book contents page anchors the composition, surrounded by hand-torn black and cream paper textures that contrast light and shadow. The arrangement recalls both the fragmentation and the endurance of language and time—where forgotten texts are reimagined as raw material for new meaning.

Decorative details including a small etched bird and silhouetted moon shape at the bottom add an element of symbolism and whimsy. Created during a workshop session and signed on the reverse (12/9/23), this piece titled Jean Instructor is a tribute to process, transformation, and the collage tradition. A meaningful addition to any collection focused on text-based art, upcycled materials, or visual poetry.
