Rob Alexander is a Canadian fantasy artist renowned for his evocative landscape illustrations for Magic: The Gathering. Debuting in 1994 with Antiquities, he’s created over 200 cards, including iconic lands like Volcanic Island, Tundra, and Flooded Strand. His watercolor and digital art, rich in atmospheric detail, defines the game’s world. A University of Alberta fine arts graduate, Alexander also worked on Star Wars games and Dungeons & Dragons. Based in Edmonton, he paints, sells prints, and engages fans at conventions, leaving a lasting mark on fantasy art.
