La Traviata Live from Paris aired August 27, 2000, as a Great Performances production on PBS

This was a unique production that was televised in "real time" from various Parisian locations, aiming to enhance the dramatic experience by setting the opera in locales that reflected in the 1850s.

This RARE VHS was distributed to members of the Emmy Association, for voting considerations.

In addition to the full performance, video also includes a 1 hour  behind the scenes / making  of production.
