I have for sale an antique leather and brass black powder flask.
Unmarked Date: Mid-19th Century (Possibly a Little Older?)
Overall, the flask is in good cosmetic condition. The brass nozzle is wide open, so there must be a cap or something missing. I am not familiar with this style, and am thinking it is European, possibly French? Also, the two round disks, that remind me of celluloid/bakelite, have a couple flake chips on each side.
The actual flask is hard and just has a thin wrapping of leather. I have provided (2) dozen enlarged photos below to give you a better view.
Size: 6" (Length) 4 1/2" (Width)
If you have any questions, and/or need more photos, please send me a message.
Thank You
