The intake kit provides improved efficiency through the entire rev range, torque, acceleration responses, and fuel efficiency. Most vehicles will gain an average of 6 - 12 horsepower after upgrading to this system!
**Please Note: The K&N intake instructions show an early Euro Spec B5 1.8T engine bay with unique intake snorkel and air box design. Unlike US spec models, it lacks the secondary air injection (SAI) system for emissions control.
Despite differences in aesthetics, the installation process remains consistent with B5/B6 1.8T intake systems due to their similarity. However, some 1.8T engines may require minor modifications to complete installation.

The K&N 57i Series air induction kits are specifically designed for each vehicle, and it will free your engine from the restriction that comes with the factory air box. The kit is proven to increased horsepower and torque, and improved performance.
Every air intake kit is designed to provide power throughout the RPM range. The extra surface area of the open-air filter provides even more airflow than the original replacement filter, which is limited to the size of the factory air box.
The larger air filter also captures and holds more dirt, while being washable & reusable. This filter can last up to 100,000 miles before cleaning is required. The performance air filter kit is used to replace factory air box. All adapters in the kit are made from high quality materials such as steel, aluminum, silicon or reinforced nylon to ensure long life.
