Trade Parts North East Ltd is a fully licensed end-of-life vehicle treatment facility based in Sunderland, North East England. We are committed to maintaining the highest standards within the recycled automotive parts industry. We hold a full Environmental Standard Permit for the treatment of end-of-life vehicles, a valid Waste Carriers Licence, and we are a registered VAT company. It is a legal requirement to operate with an environmental permit. Northern Ireland - Large/Heavy Items: We are unable to dispatch large or heavy parts (e.g., engines, gearboxes, doors, bumpers, etc.) to Northern Ireland without an EORI number provided by the receiver.
These deliveries may also incur duty and customs charges, which are the responsibility of the customer.
Collection from our Sunderland facility is available on request.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
a) Unless otherwise specifically stated, all "green" reclaimed parts supplied by us are tested for correct operation prior to removal from the donor vehicle, to ensure that they are fit for purpose.
b) Subject to these T&Cs, we offer a 90-day guarantee on all parts sold (unless otherwise specified or as agreed).
c) The guarantee is made between ourselves and the person named on the purchase invoice.
d) Guarantees are not transferable.
e) The guarantee applies only to part(s) originally supplied by us. It does not cover labour costsassociated with the fitment, diagnosis, removal or re-fitment. For the avoidance of doubt ourguarantee does not cover installation or replacement labour, paints, oils, filters, gaskets or anyother consumables or expenses.
f) This guarantee applies to parts supplied for normal every-day road use; it excludes extreme useassociated with (for example but not limited to) off-road use such as track racing or high mileageuse such as taxi services.
g) Trade buyers, by their status, are deemed to have the technical knowledge to make informed decisions about purchase & fitment of parts. Failure to carry out adequate due diligence prior to purchase & during fitment may invalidate this guarantee.
h) You should check that the part you have ordered is the correct one for your vehicle before purchasing it, by matching it to the part number. If you do not know the part number, please provide us with your vehicle registration number and/or VIN, so we can try to check for you.
i) It is your responsibility to check that the part(s) you are buying are compatible with your vehicle.
j) Purchase of a wrong part is not a guarantee claim.
k) The guarantee periods start from the date of purchase (the date shown on the invoice) - not on the date of arrival or fitment.
l) Please inspect the parts immediately upon receiving / collecting your order & inform us immediately of any defects or damage. Failure to notify us immediately of damage in transit will mean that goods will be deemed to have arrived in "as expected" condition, & this cannot be used as a reason for a later claim.
m) If within the guarantee period the part develops a fault, we will offer a replacement. If a replacement item cannot be provided, we may offer a repair; failing that a refund of the original purchase price (excluding the initial shipping cost) will be issued.
n) This guarantee does not cover part failure due to (for example, but not limited to) abuse, misuse, improper repairs or maintenance, installation, alteration, or modifications.
o) This guarantee does not cover normal wear and tear, and consequential or subsequent damages.
p) The mileage displayed on a vehicle odometer is not verified by us, and the accuracy of the odometer reading should not be relied upon.
q) Any parts returned to us must be those originally dispatched by us & in exactly the same condition as supplied. Any identifying part numbers, serial numbers, or security marks & labels must be attached, undamaged & legible. Any attempt to remove or deface these will invalidate your guarantee.
r) Altered, dismantled items or lacking parts originally supplied by us and custom orders are not refundable or returnable.
s) In the event of a claim, we reserve the right to have the part inspected by ourselves or an independent 3rd party engineer.
a) All Panel and Collision parts are guaranteed for a period of 90 days from the invoice date (any electrical & electronic components supplied as part of the panel are excluded).
b) This guarantee applies only to any unforeseen manufacturing defect inherent in the panel at thetime of sale by us. It does not apply to any damage or defect highlighted by us at or prior to thepoint of sale.
c) Make sure that the part you ordered is correct for & fits your vehicle correctly before stripping, cutting, filling, painting, altering or final installation. Any parts that are in any way altered are nonrefundable.
d) Damage to and wear & tear of parts supplied due to usage after fitment are not covered by this guarantee.
a) ECUs & Electrical/ electronic items that have been fitted to your vehicle are specifically not covered by this guarantee. We do not supply parts on the basis that they are used for diagnostic purposes - they are highly susceptible to damage & cannot be re-tested or resold.
b) Many electrical items are coded to the original donor vehicle & need to be re-coded to the recipient vehicle using specialist software before they can be properly used. Unless specifically stated otherwise, all electrical & electronic items should be assumed to require recoding. It is yourresponsibility to check before you purchase a part from us.

b) We can offer a 90-day guarantee if you are willing to return your old engine / gearbox to us within 14 days of purchase (you will be responsible for arranging the return and any associated costs).
c) Engines & gearboxes supplied must be an exact match by engine/ gearbox code, unless otherwiseagreed with us prior to purchase. If you are not sure, please provide the vehicle VIN / VRN to our sales team & they will check for you.
d) It is your responsibility to ensure that you are ordering the correct part. This will include providing us with your vehicle registration number so that we can help ensure that you order the correct part for your vehicle.
e) Engines & gearboxes are drained of oil before shipping - they will need to be filled with new oil & filters upon fitment. Any engine supplied must be correctly fitted with new timing, drive belts, oil, water pump and service components before use. Damage caused by misuse, improper fitting, neglect, accident, or motorsport use is not covered. Failure to follow these terms or to provide a recognised professional dealer or specialist invoice will invalidate our warranty.
f) For the purposes of this guarantee, engines are sold "bare" (as engine block, cylinder head, sump) unless specifically stated otherwise.
g) Any other components left on an engine delivered to a purchaser are not covered by this warranty & should be replaced as a matter of course as part of the fitment process. These include, but are not limited to: mounting brackets, inlet & exhaust manifold, turbo chargers, clutch, flywheel, spark or glow plugs, fuel injectors, fuel/ oil/ water/ power steering pumps, timing belts/ chains/ pulleys or tensioners, oil/ diesel/fuel filters, sensors, wiring looms etc. Engines and cylinder heads are supplied as bare only unless stated otherwise. Any consumable / ancillary items such as Oils, Seals, Belts, Pulleys, Gaiters, Ball Joints, Sump Pans, Manifolds, Turbo, etc supplied with the purchased items are NOT tested & provided free of charge. These parts are NOT covered by warranty.
h) Any ancillary components supplied with gearboxes (such as thrust bearings, sensors, mounting brackets, CV joints, etc.) must also be replaced during fitment & are not covered by this warranty.
i) Automatic gearboxes will be supplied with the torque converter and this must be fitted with the supplied transmission; failure to do this will invalidate this guarantee.
j) Engines & gearboxes are sold on the basis & must be fitted by established garages with a registered business name, number and address. Engines and gearboxes fitted by private individuals or any party that cannot be independently verified as appropriately qualified will not be covered by our warranty.
k) In the event of a claim, the garage that fitted the item must be able to provide an engineers' report and receipts for all of the work undertaken & parts/ materials purchased, including (but not limited to): Timing kits (belt or chain), water pumps, fuel filters, approved engine oil, oil filter, coolant, water thermostat, oil pump etc. Failure to provide this information will void the guarantee.
l) The company will accept no liability under this guarantee where engines fail as a result of criminal or malicious damage, negligence, fire or theft.
m) We reserve the right to make our own investigations of any claims made under this guarantee.
n) This guarantee will be voided if it appears that engine damage has occurred due to overheating or lack of lubrication, resulting from neglect or lack of reasonable care, not following manufacturer guidelines, or from a defect in/ failure or wear of another part of the vehicle (e.g. cooling or electrical).
o) Engine overheating - Heat tabs should be fitted to all engines sold, to detect whether the engine has overheated (perhaps because the radiator is blocked). If the engine has overheated, the warranty is void.
p) Engine oil changes - Some engines require priming before starting. There are set procedures that must be used.
q) Automatic transmissions - These should always be sold with the torque converter and this must be fitted with the supplied transmission as a pair. A faulty auto box can pump foreign bodies/ contamination into the torque converter and if this is not replaced at the same time as the auto box, will then contaminate & damage the replacement gearbox.
a) If an item is listed on the included invoice but is not present when received, please check that the packaging hasn"t been damaged in transit & that the item has not fallen out. Inform us of any missing parts immediately upon receipt of your order.
b) For some orders, we may need to send the parts separately via different couriers (due to size / weight restrictions). We will try our best to notify you beforehand however please bare this in mind when receiving your order.
c) If it appears that item has not been sent, please contact us either via email or over the phone, quoting your invoice number and the name of the missing item. We will then conduct an investigation and respond as soon as possible.
d) If the item has been sent but subsequently lost in transit, we will try to supply you with a suitable replacement within a reasonable time-frame.
e) If we are not able to do this we will issue you with a partial refund, or if you prefer a complete refund once the purchased parts are returned to us undamaged & as supplied. Under these circumstances we will pay the cost of the return.

b) If you purchase the wrong part or change your mind, you will have to pay the return costs. However, if we send you the wrong part (not the one you ordered), we will pay the return shipping costs
c) To qualify for a return, the following conditions apply:
a. You must inform us in writing that you wish to return the part within 14 days of receipt.
b. The part must be returned to us undamaged, complete & in its original condition (with all security marks/ labels intact & undamaged) within 28 days of receipt.
c. the part must be packaged robustly to protect it from damage during the return journey. if it arrives back damaged or incomplete (in a condition that differs from that when it arrived & if damaged/ defective was not reported to us previously) we may refuse to issue a refund or deduct a suitable amount).
d) Once received, checked & approved by us, we will issue a refund
e) Parts incorrectly ordered will not be accepted back unless otherwise agreed. The customer is responsible for arranging the return delivery.
a) In the event of a technical problem with the fitting or performance/ operation of a purchased part, in the first instance contact our aftersales team who will try to help (see below).
b) If you then wish to make a guarantee claim, please read & understand these T&Cs to make sure that you have a legitimate basis for a claim.
c) You will need to provide proof of purchase & details of the problem prior to the return of the item(s).
d) If we sent you a faulty part, we will try to send you a replacement part within a reasonable time frame. If we are not able to do this, and your warranty claim is approved, we will issue a full refund of the original purchase price. Under these conditions we will also pay for any return shipping costs.
e) In the event that a fault develops with a part supplied, no dismantling or repair work (including that required for fault diagnosis) should be undertaken without the express prior permission of the part seller.
f) Any work undertaken before such permission is gained will invalidate the warranty.
g) Any work carried out to rectify a fault must be undertaken by a suitably qualified established garage business operating from a registered address.
h) We reserve the right to request a second opinion from an independent qualified vehicle engineer.
i) Any warranty claim which is subsequently found to be the result of failure to correctly fit or maintain the part or vehicle, or incorrectly diagnose a pre-existing fault will invalidate the warranty & may lead to a counter claim to recover any incurred costs.
j) For the avoidance of doubt, the limit of this warranty is the original purchase price of the part supplied.
k) Work warranty repairs must be authorised by seller prior to being carried out, also any diagnosis to be authorised as might need some disassembly.
All goods remain the property of us until payment is received in full. In the event of a payment failure, we reserve the right to reclaim the good at any time.
If you wish to make a warranty claim, please first contact us promptly by eBay Messages. All warranty claims must be accompanied by proof of purchase. Any refunds will be made by the method used in purchase. Refunds will not be made to third parties.
