Wild Mustang Horses

This is a handsome pair of Coppered Wild Mustang Bookends designed produced in the late 1940s.  

Art deco bookends from the late 1920s through the early to mid 1950s were made using hand die cast, special metal alloys, plated with a rich gilded copper bronze finish.

This lovely pair of bookends also can stand alone as great looking statues.  They are in fine aged condition with expected patina and no cracks or breaks. There is occasional roughness to the finish as expected of items of this age. The green felt bottoms are in very good condition. 

Each horse is 6 1/4 inches tall by 5 1/8 inches wide.  They weigh 2 1/2 to 3 pounds each.
