Early Rare Signed Georg Jensen Ceramic Crab Bowl Dish

This is a fabulous and highly collectible George Jensen piece made for Ipsen Enke Pottery.
Ipsens was a ceramics manufacturer in Copenhagen, Denmark.  The company was founded by Peter Ipsen in 1843 and continued by his widow, Louise Ipsen, and son, Berthel Ipsen, after he passed away in 1860. 
It achieved international success with its replica of antique Greek and Roman ceramics, winning awards at international expositions and opening its shops in Paris and London.  After the turn of the century, it collaborated with artists such as Thorvald Bindesbøll and Axel Salto. It closed in 1955.
Hand signed, stamped and numbered to base.
