This Short Shaft kit is engineered to withstand the increased torque generated by the extreme reduction of the TeraFlex Low231 4:1 Heavy Duty Transfer Case kit. This kit also eliminates the need to lower the transfer case in most cases by increasing the rear driveshaft length by four inches. It includes a larger output bearing and rear housing. This kit must be used with a CV style/double cardan driveshaft.
