Wilkinson WVS Vintage Single Coil Pickup Alnico V for Stratocasters – Cream (Full Set)

Upgrade your Stratocaster with these excellent Wilkinson M-Series® Single Coil pickups. 

These Wilkinson pickups have vintage staggered alnico V poles that produce a classic, authentic sparkly tone. 

Alnico 5 magnets gives that open, airy top-end sparkle, producing a brighter tone with a tighter low end and stinging highs. Alnico 5 magnets particularly shine in neck position, keeping the tone clear without getting muddy. Producing that authentic Strat tone that cheaper ceramic pickups can’t match. 

The middle pickup is reverse wound and has reverse polarity, whilst the bridge pickup is slightly overwound to give a higher output. This helps to balance the pickups as a set. 

These pickups are wax potted and have waxed cloth wire to improve sound quality and durability.
