          Though no date is given for this edition, 1927 to 1946 can be safely assumed, since that was the period during which the publisher used the full name shown here on the title page.

          Daniel Defoe (b. abt. 1660, d. 1731) was an English writer, trader, journalist, pamphleteer and spy, best known for this 1719 novel, Robinson Crusoe. It was immediately successful, and followed in the same year by The Farther Adventures of Robinson Crusoe.; and then this volume in 1720.

          Condition is “good” or a bit better: boards and spine are straight and square; binding is mostly solid and everything is securely intact, slight separation is starting at the title page; no marks in or out; some moisture stain on the leading edge of pages toward the back of the book.
