The pieces of hair, come in an original period veneer frame, with antique glass. There are a total of (8) pieces of hair, with the names and ages of the individual, but not the actual year it was created. Also, there is a little chipping to the veneer on the corners and edges, but it is all pretty minimal. Finally, the wood backing of the frames doesn't appear original to me. I have provided over (3) dozen enlarged photos below to give you a better view of the grouping.
