Encased in a robust cast-aluminum chassis, the Celestion FTX1530 features a ferrite magnet assembly that serves as a unified motor for both its low- and high-frequency drivers. This space-saving coaxial design includes a 15-inch woofer with a 3-inch edge-wound copper-clad aluminum voice coil and a Kevlar-reinforced paper cone, paired with a titanium-diaphragm tweeter also equipped with a 3-inch voice coil. The FTX1530 covers a frequency range from 40Hz to 18kHz, offering 90 degrees of high-frequency dispersion and an impressive continuous power rating of 800 watts.
