Eclisse, designed by Vico Magistretti in 1965, won the golden compass in 1967 and became the representative of Italian design in the world.   

Eclisse is an object in perfect balance between form and function, between design and utility. 

At the basis of the project there is its function of adjusting the intensity of the light through the rotating internal semi -defaulting absence that "eclipse" the light source. 

In fact, with a fixed external part and an internal swivel, the lamp can provide direct or soft light. 

Eclisse is part of the permanent collection of the most important design museums, including the Moma of New York and the Triennale Design Museum in Milan.
