What are they:
These are 8" midrange speakers. The technical information on these speakers can be found on funktion one's website or by googling the 2s8 speaker. Paired with a tweeter, these would be in the same sonic range as the very popular 2SH. Paired with a tweeter and a bass speaker, these could comprise an entire small club system, such as the res2. If you're looking for a full array, these would be your midrange speakers. They come already wired (with bare speaker ends) and a yoke for mounting.
These speakers are SEALED FROM MANUFACTURER, BRAND NEW IN BOX (save for the one opened to take photos!). These were originally purchased over a decade ago for a project that didn't come to fruition and have sat in a climate controlled warehouse since then.
This is an offer to either build a 2SH system of your dreams (with your favorite flavor of tweeter) for the ultimate in home dance sound or to outfit an entire club at a serious discount.
Each box is 15x15x37" and weighs 60 pounds.

— Local pickup from 11201 Brooklyn.
— 1-3 pairs will ship either UPS or FedEx, fully insured ($4700 a box) from Brooklyn, NY 11201. FULL INSURANCE will be required. Don't skimp on getting them to you safely!
— 4-15 pairs can ship on a pallet. To get an idea of pricing, please go to freight quote dot com and check an LTL quote from 11201 with COMMERCIAL, NO DOCK/TIGHT-SPACE, LIFT GATE SERVICE at pickup for a 48x40 STANDARD PALLET. They fit 3x in a row on the pallet and the pallet itself is 6" tall and 50Lbs. For example, 6 PAIRS would be 2 rows of 3, meaning that the pallet height would be 36" tall (15+15+6) and 410 pounds (6x60+50). This is a great way to get an idea of how much a pallet would cost to ship. I just checked how much that 6x pallet would cost from Brooklyn to LA, and it came out to only $600! But this is just an example.
