ATLAS GRUNTO-PLAST is a ready-to-use mass that increases adhesion to the substrate (to concrete min. 1.0 MPa) and to newly applied layers. It is an excellent primer for difficult substrates, enabling the application of adhesives and other materials in a way that allows obtaining the appropriate adhesion, even on demanding substrates such as OSB boards, old ceramic tiles, terrazzo or asphalt bases, etc.

Main Features

is a ready-to-use mass produced on the basis of polymer resins and quartz flours

Increases adhesion  - strongly adheres to the substrate (to concrete min. 1.0 MPa) and to newly applied layers

Contains quartz aggregate  – increases adhesion thanks to significant development of effective surface between layers (creates a rough surface)

Strengthens the surface of primed mineral substrates  - penetrates the structure of the material, strengthens it and improves its load-bearing capacity

It is a primer for difficult substrates  - it enables the application of adhesives, waterproofing and other materials in a way that allows obtaining adequate adhesion, even on demanding substrates such as OSB boards, old ceramic claddings, etc.

Makes it easier to apply the next layer  – the rough surface reduces the “slippage” of the applied material

Designed for application at elevated temperatures  – recommended for use in the range of 5 °C to 30 °C, inside and outside buildings

Reduces substrate absorbency  - prevents excessive water from being "drawn" from the product applied to primed substrates: concrete, cement floors and screeds, screeds with underfloor heating, various types of plasters, etc.

Increases the efficiency of plasters and adhesives  - by sealing the structure of the primed substrate, it reduces the consumption of materials used to make the next layer

    ATLAS GRUNTO-PLAST grafting primer 5kg

Unifies the absorbency of the substrate  – thanks to ATLAS GRUNTO-PLAST, the product applied in the next layer has the same binding conditions on the entire surface, including in places where local repairs were performed

It protects the new layer from the adverse effects of the substrate  – limiting the mutual impact of one on the other.

It is a white primer  - it limits the colour bleed from the substrate and the formation of discolourations on the surface of the finishing layer made of plaster.

Protects wooden substrates against excessive moisture  - resulting from contact with a newly applied wet layer

    Main parameters:

    • application temperature: from +5 °C to +30 °C
    • drying time: 24 hours
