He had found the first note pinned to his pillow in a New York hotel. The second appeared in his own wallet. In desperations, Essex hired Bill Crane, private investigator, to apprehend the author of those warning notes. The vicious situation comes to a climax when Bill Crane suddenly finds himself trapped in a locked bedroom with a murder woman. This book measures 6 3/8" by 4 1/4" with 190 pages. This is a beautiful copy of this book that does have some edge wear, there is a few spots where the paint has chipped off, yet still a colorful, square, clean, wonderful copy of this book. Please look carefully at the pictures for the best idea of the condition. 

This is another wonderful book from the late Mark Goodman, Green Lion Books. As the executor of his estate, we find great joy in listing many of these rare finds. Packaging: 
All of our books are placed in bags, wrapped in paper, sandwiched between cardboard and place in a bubble mailer or on orders that require a box we wrap them books with paper, then wrap them in bubble wrap and place them in a card board box.
