Beautiful 19th century rustic earthenware confit pot or jar, for storing meat and fat, from Southwest France.
Looking the 1st picture from left to right : it is the last
Features a yellow ochre exterior glaze with a yellow interior glaze.
The bottom half of the exterior is unglazed as it was often buried in the ground to help preserve the meat.
