Francisco Goya La Gallina Ciega Hand Fan

A gorgeous piece bringing the art of the 18th century into the present.

On one side, the centre scene is that of Francisco Goya's 1779 La Gallina Ciega or Blind Man's Bluff, and the one on the left is the 1786-1787 The Grape Harvest or Autumn.  The one on the right is unidentified, as is the one on the other side of the fan, although it has what appears to be the name L Matea near the boy with the guitar.

The fan opens to approximately 16"

Some of the designs on the sticks appear to have been gone over with an ink or paint; it appears to not wash off.  The edge along the leaves seems be splitting in some places along the folds.

Shipping in Canada will be Canada Post Regular for most items and a tracking number will be provided to you. I want to keep shipping costs as low as possible, but I can upgrade shipping preferences at buyer's request and expense.

 
Shipping to the US will be through USPS or UPS using a tracking option.  The flat rate quoted is strictly for the lower 49 states and DC; should you want it shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico or any of the U.S. territories, commonwealths, or insular or outlying areas please contact the seller for shipping costs prior to purchase.  Please contact me for a quote so that I can provide you with the most affordable option.  I can meet other shipping preferences at the buyer’s request and expense. 

 

Other international shipments will be determined based on the buyer’s location.  Please note that shipping rates in Europe do not include any overseas territories, commonwealths, insular or outlying areas, or other areas that are not considered part of continental Europe; please contact the seller for shipping costs prior to purchase.
