This is a sample box containing 2 pounds Each:
Ethiopia Sheka Natural Process
Colombia Washed Process Pink Bourbon
Guatemala Organic washed process
Colombia Microlot Washed process El Pilar
Ethiopia Sidama Natural Process GR4
Some of these coffees are not sorted by screen size so different size beans might be present. I say this because new Home roasters might not know about different origins might not use screen size. Also a grade 4 in Ethiopia might contain defects and bean size variations. I still thought the coffee tastes good. With the Sheka it contains many different size beans and Ethiopia has many different varieties. It has really nice blueberry tones at lighter roasts and that region has a lot of wild coffee.
The Sidama Natural process is more earth tones with light nuttiness' and chocolate notes roasted lighter and in darker roasts mor dark chocolate.
The organic Guatemala is a washed process from Huehuetenango. To me it just tastes like coffee. (LOL) it is very easy to roast and has nice cocoa notes in lighter roasts but can be roasted at any level. These beans seem to be more even in size.
The Colombian El Pilar Microlot is definitely more exciting than just a regular old Colombian, the bean size is more even but not as big as other colombian coffee, bean is Castillo Rosario and it comes from a very small farmer. I personally would roast it in first crack.
Colombia Finca La Vega Anaerobic washed Pink Bourbon
Anaerobic fermentation, washed pink bourbon from Finca La Vega. Located in the San José Village, Amagá Antiquia. Colombia at 1800 meters.I also would roast this lighter but I am sure it would be good at any roast. This comes from my friend Yolima family farm and very little is produced. Tasting notes can be very different depending on roast level and ones own pallet.
Tasting notes: Chamomile, honey, orange, chocolate
Shipping 10 pounds of green coffee to some of you can cost almost $16 depending on where you live. i am not sure how long I will sell green coffee especially because the prices are very expensive and I know a lot of home roasters are looking for bargains. I am a really small roaster that has been roasting at home since 2000 and selling green coffee for many years. Thank you for buying my coffee! Best, Chris
