This engine is a great replacement for your application

Engine Specs:

NOTICE: If your engine model number starts with "31," it means it has a 500cc displacement. Our engine, however, has a 540cc displacement, which provides more power. While our 19 Gross HP engine can replace the 500cc engine, the 540cc Briggs and Stratton engine is no longer rated higher than 21 gross HP. It is now rated at 19 gross HP. If you don't mind the change in power (more or less than your old engine), then feel free to proceed with the purchase.

Please contact us if you have any questions regarding warranty.

ONLY returns on engines that have not been mounted, had oil added, or hooked up to fuel will be accepted. Buyer is responsible for return shipping and getting engine back to us undamaged, this means packing up safely and securely.
