Antico porta marmellata di Sheffield con vetro rosa all'interno. Traforato in stile neogotico, è provvisto di un coperchio.

In condizioni molti buone, con lievi segni di usura. Il vetro all'interno non è antico come la base, ma è di un bellissimo rosa "cranberry".

Antique Edwardian Marmalade Jar Silverplated Base & Lid & Cranberry Liner

An antique silver plate marmalade jar with cranberry glass liner.

In overall good condition. Minor wear. The glass liner is almost new and it is a replacement. It is anyway of a beautiful cranberry pink colour.

The silver plate base is pierced in neo-gothic  style has three feet and a fitted tray and has an elegant lid with finial.  The shield is engraved with the writing MARMALADE.
