Before installing your new Voltage Regulator Rectifier:
Our product is an improvement of the OEM# 2203794 because we remove the risk of corrosion by removing the extra connector and having only one harness or Improving on Polaris upgrade by only having one connector point.
1. Remove the Exhaust Pipe and Silencer: Detach these components to gain better access to the parts you?ll be working on.
2. Drill Out Rivets on the Minks Regulator (P/N 4011440): Use a long drill bit to remove the rivets securing the regulator beneath the oil bottle. Be cautious to avoid damaging surrounding components.
3. Route the Regulator Harness: Route the regulator harness along the existing main harness towards the clutch guard. Secure the harness in accessible locations to keep it organized.
4. For 2006 Models: Remove the belt clip from the clutch guard and reposition it as shown in the provided pictures. For 2007 Models: Skip this step and proceed directly to Step 5.
5. Drill Holes for the Regulator on the Clutch Guard: Drill the necessary holes in the clutch guard to mount the regulator, ensuring the connector faces the engine or is directed upwards. For 2007 models, be mindful of the support bar when drilling.
6. Bolt the Regulator to the Clutch Guard and Connect the Harness: Secure the regulator to the clutch guard with bolts, then connect the harness to the regulator.
Warning:
Risk of electric shock. Disconnect the battery before servicing.
Ensure proper installation by a qualified technician to avoid malfunction.
