Why I built this machine:

I was an addict to building gaming PCs. I went a bit stir-crazy building on the NewEgg system builder back in 2022, and I had to see this build come together. I envisioned "the ice build" and I had to see it realized. As my main rig is much bigger, I decided I'd save this one to give my son for doing well in school. But alas, my son got into boxing and has no appreciation for this kind of thing.

So, it sat in a box in my closet, never used.

So, now we're moving. I'm going to sell it, because it would be a waste to let it go un-used.

Admittedly, the processor and GPU are not top end. You'll probably want to upgrade to a 3070 Ti, 3080, or 3090 at some point for 1440p or higher resolution. The 8-core X3D processors still seem expensive, so it's best to wait for those to come down (in my opinion). So, the price of a machine like this would be about $2,100 with the higher-end CPU and GPU. Nevertheless, this one will perform for most games at 1080p, and you don't have to pay over $2,000. You don't even have to pay $1,500. I've priced this at what fair market value would be for the components only, no charge for labor or assembly (because it truly was a joy to build).
