The MTP AV offers all the features of the best-selling MTP II, including the ability to route your MIDI data to absolutely any device (or multiple devices) in your MIDI system, and the ability to merge or filter the data so that each device receives only what you want it to. Like the MTP II, the MTP AV offers 128 user definable "Scenes" ontaining your routing, merging, and filtering information. The LCD display makes the MTP AV fully programmable and controllable from the front panel. The parallel port and serial port lets you connect to any computer (you can even connect a Mac and a PC at the same time!) and the configuration software makes routing and filtering a breeze. The MTP AV can be networked with the original MIDI Timepiece, the MIDI Timepiece II or more MTP AVs. In fact, on the Mac and PC, you can network two of these units, giving you 16 x 16 MIDI ports and 256 MIDI channels! With a Mac you can further expand to network 4 units, in any combination, giving you 32 x 32 MIDI ports and an unbelievable 512 MIDI channels. Networks can run up to 1,000 feet!
