    These like-new, excellent condition  Lash-Up GP-9's were made in 1997 by Lionel Electric Trains and represents the Union Pacific Railroad.   They come with a manufacturers' original storage/set box that is in excellent condition.  The diesels come packed in individual Styrofoam inserts for protection during shipping and when not in use.  There are no scratches, scrapes or rubs anywhere on either unit and, they have almost no track time(maybe test run only).  I have taken them out of their storage boxes for photo purposes only.  Also included is the original manufacturers owner manual.

    The life and performance of these locomotives depends, to a considerable extent, upon proper care and lubrication of the motor, trucks and other moving parts.  As with all new and used locomotives, I do recommend a thorough cleaning and complete lubrication periodically and before initial use.  A small amount of oil and lubricant properly applied, goes a long way towards long life and great performance.
