Antique 1910's Victorian chatelaine beaded bag purse. It features a black beaded design with a starburst pattern, a silver-plated metal frame with ornate detailing and a fringe of silver-toned beads along the bottom. The beads sparkle in the light but I cannot capture that in a photo. A black velvet ribbon serves as the handle. It has a push button lock that open the purse that opens with ease. Chatelaine purses, popular during the Victorian era, were designed to be attached to a belt or waistband using a clip or hook, allowing the wearer to keep small items close at hand. Measures 4 ¼" wide, 3" tall with a 3" drop.
