Mic Your Kick and Toms with a Single Stand

This mic-mounting Kick and Dual Tom System covers the center of a typical drum kit with only a single stand, by placing a kick drum and two mics in the center of your kit, right where you need them. The system itself is simple. At the center of it all is a Triad T1 short stand, which places the Orbit 2/O2 dual orbital boom in easy reach of your rack toms or other instruments. A Micro 2/M2 short-stem orbital mount at the end of either boom lets you place your tom mics in the perfect spot.

Customize your Triad-Orbit mic stand system

At Sweetwater, we're committed to providing our customers with the right gear to fit their needs. We're perfectly comfortable with putting together a custom Triad-Orbit stand system for you. This Kick and Dual Tom System is easy to expand as needed. If you want to cover more toms or other percussion instruments, an IO-Vector Stereo Utility Bar or two will do the trick.

You can also expand this system to add bottom-head mics or to add an inside mic to your kick. All you need is another IO-C Clamp or two, plus some Orbit Arm/OA boom bases and IO-A2 boom arms. Don't forget the extra Micro 2/M2 mic mounts. They'll ensure you get total mic-placement flexibility.
