    Armpit Use

    Wipe armpit dry, place probe in armpit and keep arm pressed firmly at side, From a medical viewpoint, this method will always provide inaccurate readings, and should not be used in precise measurements are required, normal temperature between 95.4℉ and 98.1℉.

    Oral use

    Place thermometer under tongue. Close your mouth and breathe evenly through the nose to prevent the measurement from being influenced by inhaled/exhaled air. Normal temperature between 96.3℉ and 99.1℉.

    Rectal Use

    Lubricate silver probe tip with petroleum jelly for easy insertion, Gently insert sensor approximately 1 cm (less than 1/2") into rectum, Normal temperature between 97.2℉ and 99.9℉.

    Q: How to get accurate reading?

    A: Please continue to measure the temperature for 2-3 minutes after hear ten beeps. Then you can get an accurate temperature reading.

    Reason:

    The temperature value is considered constant when the temperature rises less than 0.1℃ within 16 seconds. As soon as the constant temperature value is reached, a beep will sound ten times.

    The highest temperature measured appears on the LCD.

    However, please note that this thermometer is a maximum thermometer, i.e. the displayed temperature can increase slightly if measurement continues after the beep.

    It means if the measurement method is wrong or other issues, the temperature value will constant in a short time.

    That means that the thermometer will give a wrong reading, and the reading will often be lower than normal reading.

    If you need to get the correct temperature reading, please continue to measure the temperature for 2-3 minutes after hear beep. Then you will get the accurate temperature reading.
