Summary: I used this battery tray in my stock 1940 Ford Coupe. I like 6 volt Optima batteries because they have advantages over a wet 6 volt battery. The original 1940 Ford battery tray has no hold downs for an Optima battery but by using this tray (which's fits perfectly in the original tray) it is secure. It is designed well and the Optima battery fits nicely. Looks good too.
