If you want to keep your original drum brakes on your favorite truck, we have you covered. The original came with ball-type wheel bearings and if you can find them, they are very expensive. Upgrading to modern tapered bearings is the only way to go. Tapered bearings disperse heat better and can deal with today’s grooved roads and modern wheels and tires much better than the original ball type.

Worked perfectly
Summary: Was skeptical about changing bearings right before a 600 mile round trip to Endless summer cruisin, but had to replace the original ball bearings because cage was getting bad. New bearings worked flawless, would do it again. Only problem is the flange on the grease seal has to be flattened out so it doesn't rub backer plate on hub.
