Toyota Mr2 Turbo Engine Rev2 Jdm Issue Under 100k Miles 3Sgte For Sw20 Mr2

Bought from a Car builder who employed me to finish a build. This engine came in the car, but it was more economical and within budget to remove it and replace it with a non-turbo engine given the price of non-turbo MR2s at the time. I ended up with the engine as part payment of services rendered. The engine was sourced from an Astral black MR2 jdm turbo which I have the registration for which proves that this engine has less than 100 K miles on it.(as per last mot issued)

Originally, I thought I might keep it given the increasing difficulty I am facing in sourcing spare parts for my own MR2 turbo. However I have decided to part ways with it as it sits.

As you can see it includes a ct26 turbo and an mr2 3SGTE engine loom.

These two items alone are worth nigh on 400£+ at current market value.

I know as I’ve not long bought a turbo and sold a similar aforementioned loom.

Overall, the engine is mostly complete. The only things I would mention that are lacking is the induction pipe, the airflow meter and the ECU. A gearbox driveshafts hubs are needed to complete a turbo conversion. I have some of those items if you wish to make a bundle.

I have listed this as parts are not working as it has spent an extensive amount of time sat on the floor of a workshop covered over and therefore it will need going through to make sure it’s ready to be installed.
