Antique Glazed Stoneware Mug !
 
* Wedgwood began to sell jasperware in the late 1770s, at first as small objects. 
   It was extremely popular, and after a few years many other potters devised their own versions.
* Mug of white stoneware with applied decoration in relief on a blue ground. 
   Cylindrical with foliated loop handle; the lower part is horizontally reeded; 
   the upper part is decorated with a fox-hunting scene on a blue ground.
* White earthenware mug with white sprig molding on blue background.
* This lightweight mug features a relief fox-hunting scene on a blue ground.
* Possibly made by Chetham & Woolley between 1793-1809.
* V&A museum have one similar mug without beaded edge and dated 1800-1820.
   Beaded edge was common in 1700s.
* Turner pottery, Spode, Ridgway pottery,  made similar Jasperware kind potteries.
  But they didn't have shiny glaze.
* Mug is in good condition, without hairlines.
   And tip of the thing on handle is worn, no glaze.
* DIMENSIONS: Approx... 3 3/16" H x 4.5" W x 3.5" L...
