This large format box set, packaged in a cardboard slipcase, numbered 0170 of the 2,000 copies released, contains two bound volumes dedicated to the artist Balthus by the Japanese photographer Kishin Shinoyama. Photographs taken in two Balthus residences: Le Grand Châlet in Rossinière in Switzerland and the Château de Montecalvello in Italy. Both works open with reproductions of paintings by the painter.

In the original cardboard shipping box, this is an exceedingly rare, out of print, numbered Kishin Shinoyama art photo book.
