Troops of Company "C", 7th Infantry, come down nets on the USS BURLSON and load into LCVP's (Landing Craft, Vehicles, Personnel) at U.S. Naval Amphibious Base, Little Creek, Virginia. The troops are training in preparation for PORTREX, Joint Armed Forces Amphibious-Airborne exercises, which will take place in the Caribbean early in March, 1950.Photo measures 8.25 x 10.25inches.
