DESCRIPTION
The Brixwell Spiral Window Balance is a window support system used in double-hung or tilt windows installations. It features a 3/8" diameter aluminum tube with a tube length of 11" and a steel rod measuring 11-5/8" in length. Designed to support window sashes weighing up to 22 lbs, the balance includes a red nylon bearing that assists in reducing friction during sash movement. This system is commonly used for replacing worn or damaged balances and may also be installed in new windows requiring spiral support mechanisms. The assembly consists of an aluminum tube, an internal steel rod, a nylon bearing, and a carrier, working together to lift and lower the sash while maintaining balance using internal spring tension.
