Used Warwick [Thumb Bass Bolt-on] has arrived.
Born in Germany in 1982, Warwick is a world-class high-end bass brand.
The unique body shape based on ergonomics and the unique sound produced by the discerning wood materials are loved and supported by many bassists around the world.
The representative model streamer closely resembles the Specter NS-2.
That's because Warwick originally started as a Specter copy model.
However, since then, Warwick has continued to release basses full of originality, including this thumb bass, and has been recognized as a unique manufacturer, and now there seems to be nothing from Specter.
The model that arrived this time is a bolt-on thumb bass.
It features two single-coil pickups that are close to the bridge and one is slanted.
I think the model name comes from the arrangement of this pickup so that the thumb of the slap is easy to enter, but I may be wrong.
The control section includes a master volume (push/pull to switch between active and passive), a pickup balancer, and a 2-band EQ, allowing for a simple but extremely wide range of sound makeup.
Compared to the streamer, which is a representative model, both pickup positions are closer to the bridge, giving a crisp sound.
Recommended for those who want to express their individuality with a sound that sounds like a streamer but not a streamer.
