Antique Victorian trailed glass pot shape vase with clear handles, probably made in 1880-90's.
The vase has more than one "special effect": it's double-layered with diamond or net pattern only flickering, the main body is copper tone orange and the other layer is green, good contrast.
The handles are very well modelled and scrolled on the top, classical urn shape.
There's so much work in this small piece that I believe it's an experimental piece of glass maker, probably Richardson (the father of trailed glass), if you know better, please share your knowledge with me.
- Measures: hight (the vase/pot) is 12,8cm, on the handle 13,8cm, diameter on the rim is 9,9cm, underneath 7,4cm, the diameter at the widest 12,8cm, weight 700 g (!).
- Condition: Damage to the trailing (it has been knocked off over the time, so there are small gaps in lines), no other flaws.
