Grading is primarily for visual appeal of cosmetic parts (lids, bases, screens etc) functional parts (motherboards, cables, other internal parts) all receive either Grade B or Grade F

A - In almost new condition with very minor signs of previous use if any at all.

B+ - Some minor signs of previous use. Scuffs, small scratches, marks, blemishes that are barely noticeable but fully tested and working. Screens - micro surface scratches but no light spots or dead pixels.

B - Some moderate signs of previous use. Scuffs, small scratches, marks, blemishes etc but fully tested and working. Screens - small surface scratches, surface marks such as keyboard impressions, small barely noticeable light spots

C - Some heavier signs of use and cosmetic damage. Scratches, chips, dents etc but fully tested and working. Screens - medium scratches, surface marks and/or light spots or screen burn.

D - Fully working but with serious cosmetic damage. Damaged fixings, cracked, bent, deep scratches etc Screens - heavy scratches, water damage, missing or dead pixel patches etc.

F - faulty and not fully operational or completely non functional

We use industry leading software / hardware to test components to ensure perfect functionality and reliabilty such as PassMark BIT, NSYS, Keyboard TU2024, CrystalDisk. Parts are fully functional as intended unless listed as "for parts or not working" and the cosmetic condition will be as per the listing photographs.
