Offered is the Western Electric 208-A Triode Tube. The tube is clean and in good condition-the bottom plate is missing-visible in photos. The tip of the top is chipped off, but not too severely. The tube tests OK with gas-visible in photos. The test setup was for an 01A tube with 3.3 volts for the filament and tested only briefly. The 208-A designation is crossed off-these tubes were also commonly issued in this manner as 216A types. These were early telephone repeater tubes, also used with radios in detector and audio circuits. Patent dates are as follows: 1-15-07, 2-18-08, 2-19-16, 10-17-16 and 2-17-18. Pick up this tube for your own collection. Offered strictly "as is" due to age and tested only briefly as noted. No returns on this one, people. Mouse over the photo images to zoom in. NO RESERVE!!
