• Very impressive Newall post lamp ; standing at 94.00 cm tall and weighing over 13.5 LB

• Standing on a raised three-sided architectural design base plinth with deep relief decorations

• Heavy bronze reeded Corinthian style staged column with a large circular multi-layered bronze capital

• Tubular neck and an urn-shaped shoulder supporting the coppered bronze ventilated gallery with the original brass B-22 bayonet fit bulb holder

• Beautiful Original 1930s large hand-moulded opaline glass torch flame shade

• Professionally inspected and re-wired in three-core fabric braided 0.75mm twist cable, earthed, tested, and in perfect working order

• Original mid-century (new old stock) three-round pin brown Bakelite plug with early cord grip system

• Fitted with Original 1940s Genuine “CRATER” inline Bakelite switch, which is by far the most sought after of all original deco Bakelite inline switches

• Ready to serve, (for both UK & US homes) NO re-wiring or any additional parts required other than a voltage compliant bulb, ans a local wall plug for US settings”

This period lamp is in beautiful period condition with a lovely aging patina, and "no known faults"; and a level of age-related wear commensurate with its 70+ years of service. As with all hand-moulded glass flame shades, no two shades are ever identical in the flame formations, please specify which flame you prefer as you make your purchase .(please study images before bidding, and make your own informed assessment)

Packaging & Shipping

• Lamp will be (inspected & Re-tested) prior to packaging, the hand-moulded opaline glass flame shades will be packaged into its own individual box within main parcel, which will then be professionally packaged, and shipped by Royal mail Parcel Force 48H tracked delivery.
