This is a beautiful rare model single handle antique coffee grinder with wheel, this mark and grinder is extremely RARE


Made of cast iron and wood


This mill is in great condition, because it is completely restored. It is grinding very smoothly and with fine coffee powder it can be used for every day grinding. The inside of the hopper is black and it has some spots due age and use, and the hopperlid is missing, see photos.


This is a very gorgeous rare grinder which is nice repainted in black, red and with goldletters. The mechanisme is cleaned, polished and is nickelplated, you can feel it with grinding it goes very smoothly. The wooden base has signs of age and use, it has a tear but it is an antique grinder so i did not repair this.

" Kissing & Möllmann (K&M) was founded in 1826 by the Iserlohn entrepreneurs Ferdinand Möllmann and Johann Hermann Kissing. It took over the trading house Ballot, Möllmann & Co. founded as Schmidt & Woeste in 1802. From 1824 the company started production with a bronze goods factory on the Iserlohn waterway. Another location was on the thick tower. Until 1834 the company operated under Kissing, Möllmann & Co. In 1865 it received the license to build a metal foundry on Bachstrasse next to the Iserlohn-Menden railway line. In 1864, the bronze goods factory was moved from Wasserstrasse to the newly built factory on Bachstrasse (later street name Obere Mühle). The main building was increased and expanded in 1898. Kissing & Möllmann was one of the most important commission trading houses in the province of Westphalia. The main sales areas were Italy and Spain as well as Germany and Russia. Kissing & Möllmann manufactured fittings, candlesticks and ship bells among other things. K&M coffee grinder from the 1950s with a sliding sheet funnel The company became known nationally from 1872 onwards through the production of coffee grinders. In 1894 Kissing & Möllmann had 120 employees and produced 200,000 coffee grinders annually. The company was the largest coffee grinder manufacturer in Germany. At that time, K&M was also the first company to produce printed coffee grinders from sheet metal."

DAMAGE AND INSURANCE.

We are sorry that inspite of our careful packing you received a damaged item in shipping. We have taken out insurance. Please sent us pictures of the damaged items. Keep in mind that you will lose the item(s), the mail will take it in or we will ask you to sent it back.

MY ITEM CAME DAMAGED IN THE MAIL

Items shipped by mail are insured by the mail. Damage should be reported to us and to your local post office where they will provide you with an indemnity form to file your claim. Claims will not be processed by Dutch mail insurance or by us without an indemnity form (verbal) issued by the receiving mail service. The form is internationally known as a CN24 form. I suggest you call the mail first to get an idea how the process works, so you do not make unnecessary trips to the post office. If they tell you we must file the claim we are aware of that, but if it is filled by us the insurance wants proof of the mail authorities in your country that the item was actually damaged in transit, and that is form CN24. Please save the carton, broken item(s), packing material and shipping statement for inspection by Mail agents. Should you have additional questions dont hesitate to email us.

The photos we need by damage:

- the packaging as a whole with visible address and barcode

- where possible, a detailed photo of damage to the packaging

- one of more photos of the damaged article in its totality

- one or more detailed shots of the damage

- one of more photos on which the inside of the packaging is clearly visible

- a detailed view of the adress with barcode
