We have seen quite a few listings for this book in which the sellers are stating that their copies are True First Editions/First Printings when they are. most assuredly, NOT TRUE Firsts.

We have no idea if they are purposely misleading their potential customers or are simply unaware of the necessary First Edition Points needed for this title to be a True First.

Either way, please do not be fooled or taken advantage of!



There are numerous First Edition Points for this book and ALL of them MUST be present!

If they are not present, then the book is simply a later printing, a hardcover reading copy or a Book Club Edition.

This copy, this book, has ALL of the important First Edition Points and ALL of them are necessary to denote a TRUE First.

Principal among them, the copyright page has A-3.67 {V} clearly stated.

The dust jacket is a TRUE First State with the correct original price.

There are other necessary First Edition Points but those are the most significant.

The book appears gently read and has no internal writing, no remainder marks, no missing pages and is NOT

Ex-Libris or a BCE. 

The binding is holding tight.

All of the pages are present and fully attached. 



Some general/shelf wear along with a previous owner illustrated bookplate, creases/marks/wear to the

spine/corners/boards, marks/wear to the edge/fore pages and creases/marks/toning/wear to the pages, NOT affecting the text!

All of the wear previously mentioned is very clearly visible and should be carefully examined/considered.

The previous owner illustrated bookplate is attached to the first, blank/colored page and the previous owners name is handwritten on the bookplate.

The bookplate/page has been closely photogrtaphed for your consideration.



The original, First State dust jacket is fully intact and NOT price-clipped! 

Some general/shelf wear along with creases, scuffing, marks and rips.

There are also a few pieces of clear tape attached to the inside of the dust jacket.

Please note the wear on the spine, at the corners and near/along the edges.

The wear, particularly near/along the edges, is very clearly visible!

All of the wear should be carefully examined/considered.
